FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Meet your driver and guide as you disembark the cruise ship today for a double dose of adventure in the nearby region of Port Stephens. Port Stephens is not a town but rather a region that is spread around and beyond the magnificent waterways of Port Stephens.  The area covering almost 1,000 square kilometres boasts incredible diversity in nature and activities based in nature.

You first stop is at Anna Bay, just short of Nelson Bay and the site of your duning adventure on the golden expanse of the Stockton Bight Sand Dunes.  The Stockton Bight Sand Dunes need to be seen to be believed.  Covering an area of over 2,500 hectares along the 32km long Stockton Beach these dunes of brilliant white sand climb up to 30 metres high with slopes up to 60º.  As well as an adventurous 4 Wheel Drive on the beach and dunes you will have the opportunity to try sand-boarding down the slopes and partake in beach activities including pipi catch and release.

From the dunes you will be coached on to Nelson Bay, the main town of the Port Stephens area.  Here you will enjoy free time to explore shops, cafes and restaurants and select your own lunch (not included).  Nelson Bay is a popular haven for holiday makers from Sydney and beyond so there is a wide variety of eateries, shops and galleries to be enjoyed. 

Following your time at Nelson Bay you will board your dolphin watching cruise. Experience the largest and most luxurious vessels in Port Stephens and Newcastle which will ensure that you have a memorable and comfortable 90 minute cruise.
