FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
You will be met at the pier by your guide for a transfer to the Kate Owen Gallery. On arrival at the gallery, Kate will greet you and will invite you to come in and make yourselves at home in the Aboriginal Art Centre.  Kate will provide a private introductory talk about the Gallery, Aboriginal Art in general and the Cultural Centre in particular.  Kate will also answer any of your queries that you may have about Aboriginal art and about her work as an artist. Following this introduction you will be invited to take a walk through the gallery and through Kate’s own studio where you will be able to view her current ‘work in progress’.  The gallery – which used to have a sinister past as a gambling den – also houses over 500 works by respected Aboriginal artists and you will learn about their different styles, what makes them significant and also pick up some tips if you are interested in investing in Aboriginal art.

After your gallery visit you will re-board your coach and continue with your panoramic sightseeing of Sydney’s iconic sites, passing the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and pausing for a photo stop at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair overlooking the harbour.  At Bondi Beach you will have some free time to explore the famous beach, and its cafes and shops, before the transfer back to your ship

Transfer by coach to the Kate Owen Gallery at the Aboriginal Art Centre where you will be met by Kate herself who will give you an introduction to Aboriginal Art and the venue.
