FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Meet your driver and guide at the pier and transfer to one of Tasmania's most renowned historic buildings, Runnymede Estate. This gracious old home, nestled amidst charming grounds, was built in 1840 for Tasmania's first lawyer, Robert Pitcairns. You will enjoy a guided tour through its elegant rooms and learn about the fascinating history of this house and its many residents. 

Reboard your coach for the scenic drive to Richmond. Considered as one of Australia's most important historic towns, Richmond features landmark buildings constructed by convict labor under appallingly harsh conditions, and is home to Australia's oldest bridge. Its well-preserved cottages, homes, shops and pub reflect life in an era long since passed. During your visit, you will have some free time to explore the area.

Leaving Richmond, you will continue on to the Coal Valley for a visit to Meadowbank Estate, one of Tasmania's finest wineries. Upon arrival at Meadowbank Estate, your welcoming hosts will provide you with an informative commentary and wine-tasting.

Your tour will conclude with panoramic sightseeing of historic Hobart before returning to the pier and ship.
