Meet your guide at the pier and board your coach for a day your taste buds will remember! Enjoy a brief orientation drive through Brisbane city before heading towards Mt Tamborine to discover the best local produce this fruitful region has to offer. You first taste is of Mt Tamborine’s best artisan cheeses and handcrafted beers at the brand new facilities of The Witches Chase Cheese factory. Taste a range of award winning premium cheeses including fresh, soft, blue and hard varieties. As the factory also shares the premises with the Mt Tamborine Brewery you will have time to enjoy a beer tasting of the micro-brewery best brew.

Following your visit you will transfer a short distance to the award winning Songbirds Rainforest Retreat Restaurant. A short ride off the beaten track and a short stroll along a path you take you to an airy restaurant overlooking sweeping lawns and pristine 51 acres of private subtropical rainforest. Aside from its idyllic setting, the food is renowned as a stand-alone attraction, with local produce in light, satisfying combinations and fresh ideas. The restaurant has won many awards and has an international reputation for its food, wine and high service standards, as well as its spectacular ambiance. The dishes are cooked with the best of ingredients and the Chefs use as much produce from the restaurant’s own large organic garden and local producers as each season allows. After your 2 Course gourmet meal you will have some time at leisure to explore the property. Take a leisurely stroll or a short ride to the Gallery Walk to discover local craft shops and galleries.

Your gourmet exploration of the Gold Coast Hinterland will conclude with a visit to a local winery. Encompassing the rainforest beauty of Mt Tamborine and the emerald countryside in the valleys of Canungra, Clagiraba, and the Albert River, is Queensland's boutique wine region. The Gold Coast Hinterland Wine Country is a spectacular wine region featuring boutique wineries and vineyards producing award-winning wines. The cellar doors and restaurants of this region operate from historic homesteads and buildings, and will offer you an exceptional wine tourism experience. Before returning to the ship with will also have the opportunity to visit a local winery such as the homestead estate of Albert River Wines or the quaint Cedar Creek Estate.

-    Lunch includes a main and a dessert including local artisan bread and organic homemade dips/spread. Included beverages are chilled water and tea or coffee or a pot of herbal tea made with organic herbs from the restaurant own garden and 2 glasses of selected wines per person or soft drink
