FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Depart from pier and you will be transferred to The Shanghai Acrobatic Training School. Renowned as being home to the world’s premier acrobatics troupes, Shanghai’s secret lies in its rigorous training schools where top youth talents are recruited and trained from an early age. Spend an afternoon visiting one of Shanghai’s leading training schools and take in a torrent of talent as Shanghai’s acrobatic youngsters tumble and balance their way into your heart. Afterwards, you will have an early dinner at a local restaurant before going to the theater for watching Acrobatic show.
Acrobatics is an interactive art form. Everyone, young or old, educated or not, can easily appreciate it while watching or seeing the acrobats perform. There is no language barrier and borders of culture do not limit it. Chinese Acrobatics is one of the oldest performing arts. Its history can be traced back to Neolithic times. It is believed that acrobatics grew out of labor and self-defense skills, which people practiced and demonstrated during their leisure time. The early performance is "walking on three-meter-high stilts while juggling seven gaggers". Then it developed into an entire art form.

SHORT LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Visit the local famous Shanghai Acrobatic Training School. You will see how the acrobatic performers were trained strictly the basic skills starting from the early age of six or seven years old. Because the required techniques are extremely difficult and risky, the training is long, hard and intense. Then you will be watching the best Acrobatic performance in the theater such as juggling, diabolo or Chinese yo-yo and body contortionism.

OPERATIONAL NOTES
• The order of the itinerary may vary
• Kindly note acrobatic training school only open in the morning from June to August. We need to change the program if cruise ship arrives during  these two months. For other days, we can visit in the afternoon and suggest to arrive there no later than 3pm.
• A considerable amount of walking involved. A good pair of walking shoes and appropriate attire are recommended (i.e., comfortable clothing in line with weather conditions)
• Wheelchairs are not available and will have limited or NO wheelchair access
• Restrooms are available throughout this tour but will vary in cleanliness – wet wipes and tissue recommended
• Bottled water & wet towel will be provided during sightseeing
• Dinner is included food, Chinese tea only
