FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION

DAY 1
Departing the port of Xingang to Beijing via expressway and check-in hotel. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Stay overnight at Peninsula Hotel or similar

DAY 2    
This morning, you will be transferred to Jinshanling Great Wall for hiking. Nearly everyone has heard of the Great Wall of China. As one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China, The Great Wall is not just a wall, but a symbol of the bravery and wisdom of the Chinese people.

Enjoy one of the most pristine and beautiful sections of the Great Wall in the Beijing area. The Jinshanling Great Wall was initially built from 1368 to 1389 in the Ming Dynasty, and in 1567 or 1570 rebuilding of the Wall was mainly directed by General Qi Jiguang. Poems and tablet writings can be found on the Jinshanling Great Wall left from the time Qi Jiguang directed building of this section of the Great Wall.

Simatai, located in the north of Miyun county, 120km northeast of Beijing. Originally built during the Northern Qi dynasty (550-577) and rebuilt in the Hongwu years of the Ming dynasty by Qi Jiguang, this section of Great Wall is the only part of the Great Wall which keeps the original features of the Ming dynasty Great Wall.  Simatai Great Wall is 5.4km long with 35 beacon towers. A picnic boxed lunch will be provided for you. After the walk, you will be returned to hotel for rest.  Overnight at Peninsula Hotel or similar.

DAY 3    
You’ll visit Summer Palace. Situated in the western outskirts of Haidian District, the Summer Palace is 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from central Beijing. Having the largest royal park and being well preserved. The Summer Palace is the archetypal Chinese garden, and is ranked amongst the most noted and classical gardens of the world. In 1998, it was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Lunch will be served at Aman at Summer Palace. Sanctuary of peace where a sense of balance and tranquility pervades throughout, Aman at Summer Palace, Beijing opens its doors to China's regal past and captures the essence of the Ming Dynasty's elegant.

After lunch, you’ll be returned to pier or transfer to Beijing Int’l Airport directly.

DAY 1
00:00 – 02:00 – Disembark and on board air-conditioned coach
02:00 – 05:00 – Drive from Xingang port to hotel in Beijing for check-in
05:00 – 05:30 – Depart for dinner at a local restaurant
05:30 – 07:00 – Dinner at a local restaurant
07:00 – 07:30 – Return transfer to hotel    

DAY 2
00:00 – 00:00 – Depart from hotel and on board the coach
00:00 – 03:00 – Drive from hotel to Jinshaling Great wall
03:00 – 07:00 – Hiking frome Jingshaling Great Wall to Simatai Great Wall
07:00 – 10:30 – Return back to hotel

DAY 3
00:00 – 00:00 – Check out and on board air-conditioned coach
00:00 – 00:40 – Drive to Summer Palace
00:40 – 01:40 – Visit Summer Palace
02:00 – 03:00 – Lunch at Aman Summer at Summer Palace
03:00 – 06:00 – Return transfer to Xingang port

OPERATIONAL NOTES
• The order of the itinerary may vary
• A massive and extensive amount of walking is involved – some stairs and slightly uneven, deep and rough surfaces - good hiking boot or walking shoes and appropriate attire are recommended (i.e., comfortable clothing in line with weather conditions). Also, we highly recommend to wear long pants, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bring a water proof jacket when you walk along on the Great Wall
• This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility problems
• Wheelchairs are not available and will have NO wheelchair access
• Restrooms are not available throughout the Wall. But it’s available at a local shop or restaurant near car park lot but will vary in cleanliness – wet wipes and tissue recommended
• Bottled water & wet towel will be provided during hiking
• Lunch and dinner is included food, Chinese tea only
