FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Hong Kong is cited as having the world’s finest Chinese cuisine – many of the great chefs at leading Chinese restaurants around the world have learned their craft in Hong Kong.  As the leading city of southern China it stands to reason that Hong Kong is the culinary home of today’s most creative Cantonese cookery. 

Spend a morning in a master class with a leading local chef at the Chinese Cuisine Training Institute (CCTI) for a lesson in Cantonese cuisine.  This class will involve not only the finer points of “how to prepare” it also will be a lesson in the art of the dish – why which ingredients are used, how hot should the flame be and what makes for the perfect dish.

Cooking to the Chinese, like it is to the French, is one of the great arts of living – Bon Appetit!

SHORT LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Visit local food market where you will find a various kinds of fresh seafood, vegetable and meats for sell. You’ll then participate in a Chinese cooking lesson in the demonstration kitchen at Chinese Cuisine Training Institute to learn a good Chinese dish. You may cook the dish to your family or friends upon return to your home.

TIMING BREAKDOWN FROM OCEAN TERMINAL
00:00 – 00:20 – Disembark and board air-conditioned coach
00:20 – 00:40 – Drive from Ocean Terminal to local food market 
01:40 – 01:15 – Visit to local market 
01:15 – 01:35 – Drive to Chinese Cuisine Training Institute 
01:35 – 02:00 – Short introduction and tour at CCTI
02:00 – 04:00 – Hands on cooking class in session
04:00 – 05:15 – Lunch at the Institute 
05:15 – 05:30 – Received a certificate and a souvenir
05:30 – 06:00 – Return back to the ship by coach

• Wheelchairs are not available and NO wheelchair access
• Restrooms are available throughout this tour but will vary in cleanliness – wet wipes and tissue recommended
• This tour is not a shopping tour but there will be items to purchase at the CCTI
• Bottled water & wet towel will be provided during sightseeing
• Lunch at the institute is included food only
• This program will be operated on weekdays only
