FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Depart the quayside and drive through East London, passing Orient and Eastern Beaches. Travel along the national highway toward the former homeland, known as the Transkei, enjoying views of rolling hills, farmland and traditional Xhosa villages en route to Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve. On arrival, you will be welcomed by a group of Xhosa singers and dancers and enjoy refreshments before boarding the 4x4 open-air canvas-topped vehicles.

Then head out on a three hour game-drive in search of a variety of game, including rhino, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, zebra, springbok, impala, gemsbok and the rare Eastern Cape kudu. The bird life includes gracious crested crane, secretary bird, ground hornbill and ostrich.
Return to main lodge, where you will re-board the coaches for your transfer back to the quayside.
 
SHORT LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Drive through rolling hills and farmland to Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve, where an exciting game drive lies ahead. A welcome by Xhosa singers and dancers sets the stage before you board your 4x4 open-air vehicle and head out in search of wildlife.

00:45 – 01:15 Welcome by a group of Xhosa singers and dancers
01:15 – 04:15 3-hour open vehicle game drive
04:15 – 05:00 Drive back to the quayside

OPERATIONAL NOTES
- Guests should wear flat, comfortable walking shoes and should take along sun hats, sun block & sun glasses
- Comfortable clothing, binoculars and a sun hat are strongly recommended
- Guests are not permitted to use cellular phones on or during the game drives
- Guests are not permitted to speak loudly or stand up on the game drive vehicles, as this will disturb the animals
- Smoking is not permitted during the game-drives
- For safety reasons, no children under the age of 6 years are allowed on the open vehicles
- The roads in the game reserve are gravel. There are also inclines and certain parts of the game-drive can be bumpy. Not recommended for guests with back problems
- It could be difficult for some guests with walking difficulties to get in and out of the open vehicles
