FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
Depart from Cape Town harbour and travel towards Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, skirting the slopes of Devil's Peak en route. One of the world's most famous botanical gardens, Kirstenbosch Gardens is spread over 560 hectares on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain and contains over 8,500 species of indigenous plants. Here, you’ll take a leisurely stroll through these beautiful surroundings and enjoy some time at leisure for browsing the well-stocked Curio Shop.

From Kirstenbosch, travel through the prestigious suburbs of Bishopscourt and Constantia into the region where South Africa's wine industry began over three centuries ago. Groot Constantia Estate boasts one of the most magnificent Cape Dutch Homesteads. Once the private home of Dutch Governor Simon van der Stel, the Manor House, which you will be able to visit briefly, is a fascinating blend of the West, East and Africa, incorporating European ideas, Asian craftsmanship and African materials. Also take a guided tour of the cellar, followed by a formal wine tasting. Groot Constantia is the oldest wine making centre in South Africa.

Return to the quayside, travelling over Constantia Nek to Hout Bay, before continuing through the Atlantic seaboard suburbs of Camps Bay, Clifton and Bantry Bay en route.
